Is the drum the same part as a toner cartridge?

No — they are two separate pieces that work as a team. The drum holds no toner powder at all; your toner cartridge snaps into it, and the drum's coated surface forms the image and transfers it onto the paper. That is why the printer can ask for a new drum while the toner still has plenty left, and the other way around.

How many pages will I get from this 2-pack in total?
