Frequently Asked Questions

Straight question: is this 3 pack cheaper than buying three TN760 cartridges one at a time?

At today's prices, no — and we would rather tell you than let the box imply otherwise. Three single TN760 cartridges currently come to $260.97; this 3 pack is $299.65, which is $38.68 more, or $99.88 per cartridge against $86.99 singly. The comparison flips at list price, where the pack's $419.51 just undercuts three singles at $421.08, but what matters is what you pay now. If price is the whole decision, buy the singles. The case for this pack is below.

So why does anyone order the 3 pack at all?

Convenience and stock control. One order, one delivery, three cartridges on the shelf — for an office manager keeping several of these printers fed, that removes two future reorders and the risk of a machine sitting empty while a single cartridge is in transit. Some buyers also prefer a single line item for expenses or a standing stock they draw down over a year. Those are real reasons; they are just not a discount, and at current pricing you should choose this pack for them, not for savings.

What exactly is in the box?

Three genuine Brother TN760 high-yield black cartridges, each individually boxed and rated at 3,000 pages — the same cartridge sold singly, three times over. There is no special pack-only variant and nothing to configure: each one drops into the DR730 drum unit in the usual way whenever its turn comes. Used in one machine, the three run consecutively; spread across machines, each goes where it is needed.

Which printers does this pack serve?

The same nine models as the single TN760: the DCP-L2550DW; the HL-L2350DW, HL-L2370DW, HL-L2370DW XL, HL-L2390DW and HL-L2395DW; and the MFC-L2710DW, MFC-L2750DW and MFC-L2750DW XL. A small fleet of mixed models from that list is exactly the situation a 3 pack suits — one shelf stock covers every machine in the room.

How long will three cartridges sit in storage before the last one is used?

In a single home-office printer at a few hundred pages a month, the third cartridge may not be opened for a year or more. Sealed toner keeps well: store the boxes flat, indoors, away from heat and damp, and the cartridge you open last performs like the first. If your volume is that light, weigh the wait against the single-cartridge price above — there is no shelf-life pressure forcing the pack on you.

How do returns work on a multi-pack?

The same 30-day window from delivery applies, in all cases, and Brother's manufacturer warranty covers each cartridge as genuine stock; the full terms are on our shipping and returns page. We ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, choosing the closest warehouse, and our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if a pack arrives damaged or a cartridge misbehaves.

About This Genuine Brother TN760 High Yield Black Toner Cartridge 3 Pack

Three genuine TN760 high-yield cartridges — 3,000 rated pages each — in a single order at $299.65, against a $419.51 list. Read the first answer before you buy: at current single-cartridge pricing this pack is the convenience option, not the discount one, and we say so on the page rather than after checkout. Stock for the platform's other fills and drums is in the Brother range at Clever Supplies.
