Frequently Asked Questions

Thirty-six thousand pages of toner against a single drum — who actually prints at that scale?

Billing departments, logistics desks, legal and medical offices turning out statements, labels and case paperwork all day. Three TN880 cartridges hold 12,000 pages apiece, and machines on this platform in heavy service can move through one in a matter of weeks. This bundle exists for that cadence: the drum renewal is handled in the same order, and the two following cartridge changes are already in the cupboard. It converts a year of piecemeal ordering into one planned purchase.

Will the drum outlast all three cartridges?

Not quite — and that is worth knowing before you buy. The DR820 is rated at 30,000 pages; three TN880 cartridges carry 36,000 pages of toner. So somewhere inside the third cartridge's life, the drum will reach the end of its rating and ask to be replaced again. That is not a defect in the bundle's logic: the box is sized so the machine never sits idle waiting on parts during its busiest stretch, and when the drum does come due, it is replaced on its own while the remaining toner carries on. Judged as uninterrupted supply rather than matched lifespans, the proportion makes sense.

What does this largest TN880 size save against its parts?

The same honest comparison as the rest of its family: three TN880 cartridges at $161.29 plus one DR820 at $159.29 total $643.16 bought separately at this store. The bundle is $611.00 — $32.16 under the parts, and $305.50 under the $916.50 combined list price. Spread across the 36,000 pages of toner in the box, the bundle price works out near 1.7 cents a page for genuine supply on a departmental machine, which is the strongest running-cost figure in this bundle range.

Which machines is this set for?

A single printer or multifunction from Brother's departmental mono range: HL-L6200DW, HL-L6200DWT, HL-L6250 DN, HL-L6250DW, HL-L6300DW, HL-L6400DW or HL-L6400DWT, or the MFC-L6700DW, MFC-L6750DW or MFC-L6800DW. All four pieces serve that one machine. If your volume is spread across several printers instead, the two-pair size in this family divides more sensibly; this three-cartridge shape assumes one workhorse carrying the load.

How should stock of this value be kept?

Sealed and level, in a cool dry store room, away from sunlight and heat sources. These are large cartridges — handle each with two hands and keep them flat rather than on end. Fit them in delivery order, rocking each gently before installation to settle the powder, and when the drum goes in, remember the counter reset in the printer's menu so its 30,000 pages are counted from the new surface. The old drum should stay out of bright light until it leaves for recycling.

What terms protect an order this size?

The standard ones for genuine Brother stock here: a 30-day window from delivery during which returns are accepted in all cases, and Brother's manufacturer warranty standing behind every part afterwards. Report problems as they appear — support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST — and a faulty piece is addressed individually, not by unravelling the whole bundle. Full wording is published on the shipping and returns page.
