Frequently Asked Questions
Two workgroup machines are both approaching a drum change — how does this box handle the pair?
It holds one complete refresh for each of them: two TN820 toner cartridges and two DR820 drum units. Fit a toner-and-drum pair into each machine and both printers come out of the job with entirely new consumables on the same day. Because the two machines draw on identical parts, the box can just as well be held as pooled stock and split unevenly — a drum where a drum is due, toner where toner runs out.
What does this size save against the four parts bought separately?
$71.78. The parts bought individually total $515.96 — two TN820 cartridges at $98.69 and two DR820 drums at $159.29. The bundle is $444.18, and it sits $222.09 under its own $666.27 list price. This is where the bundle maths in this family turns properly favourable: the two-drum size discounts far more deeply than the single pairing does.
What does each machine get, exactly?
One TN820 cartridge rated at 3,000 pages and one DR820 drum unit rated at 30,000 pages. The ratings are stated separately because the components are consumed differently — the cartridge empties, the drum endures for roughly ten cartridges — and they are never added into a single page total. Each machine's fitting is independent; nothing about one printer's refresh depends on the other's.
Do both drum changes have to happen in the same week?
No. Every part is individually factory-sealed and stores happily until called for. Service the machine whose drum warning is up now, and keep the second pair against the other printer's turn, whenever that falls. The saving is captured at purchase; the maintenance schedule remains whatever your two machines dictate.
How are returns and warranty handled on the bundle?
All four components are genuine Brother products, so the OEM terms cover the whole box: returns within 30 days of delivery, in all cases, and warranty protection through Brother's manufacturer warranty. The full wording is on our shipping and returns page. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, inside the return window.
