Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Phaser 3500DN 5 pack contain?

Five compatible 106R01149 high-yield black cartridges — the part number this platform runs on — each rated at up to 12,000 pages, for $449.29. The DN-named box holds exactly the same cartridge as the rest of the family's five-packs; the listing simply speaks to the machine on your desk.

What does the five-pack do to my cost per page?

It brings it to the family's floor. Per cartridge you pay about $89.86 instead of $104.65 — $73.96 saved across the pack — and over the rated 60,000 pages your output costs roughly 0.75 cents per page. For a machine that prints daily, that gap compounds into real money over a year.

Which printers can use these cartridges?

They fit the Phaser 3500, Phaser 3500B and Phaser 3500DN. Because the whole series shares one cartridge, this stock box covers any of those machines — useful when the DN is one of several badges on the same floor.

How many months of printing is 60,000 pages, realistically?

At 1,500 pages a month, about 40 months; at 3,000 a month, around 20 months; a very busy shared machine at 5,000 a month still gets a full year. Those figures assume standard office coverage — toner-heavy documents will shorten them — but the pack reliably turns reordering into a rare event.

Five at once, or one at a time — how do I decide?

If the printer's workload is established and steady, the pack's per-cartridge price wins. If the machine is new to you, start with the Phaser 3500DN single at $104.65, confirm the fit, and let your first cartridge's lifespan tell you when to graduate to the five-pack.

What warranty backs the pack?

A 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns on every cartridge, spelled out on our shipping and returns page. The cover runs unit by unit, so a cartridge installed months from now is protected just like the first. Our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
