Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually gets through five 20,000-page cartridges?

Offices where the printer rarely rests. Five MLT-D307E units total 100,000 rated pages, which is honest sizing for a busy department machine or a small fleet sharing the ML-4512ND and ML-5012ND — at 8,000 pages a month across the fleet the pack lasts about a year. A single lightly-used printer would take years over it, and for that desk a smaller pack is the better buy; this one is for volume.

What does the per-cartridge price fall to in this pack?

To $59.39. The five-pack is $296.95 against $370.95 for five singles, a saving of $74.00, and the per-page cost drops to roughly 0.30 cents — the lowest territory this cartridge reaches short of the ten-pack. The units themselves are unchanged: same code, same 20,000-page rating apiece.

The supply we reorder is coded MLT-D307E — is this pack that cartridge?

Yes, five times over. Every unit in the pack is the compatible MLT-D307E, the extra-high-yield supply at the top of the D307 ladder — above the standard MLT-D307S and the high-yield MLT-D307L, which fit the same printers at smaller ratings. If MLT-D307E is the code your machine specifies, this pack is that supply in fleet quantity.

Which machines does the pack cover?

Samsung's ML-4512ND and ML-5012ND departmental printers. Because both take the MLT-D307E, one five-pack can be the whole toner stock for a mixed pair of machines — whichever runs low first draws the next cartridge, and there is no second cartridge type to keep track of.

Does keeping five cartridges carry any risk?

Only the calendar. Warranty cover runs from the date of purchase, so a pack bought far faster than it is used spends some of its cover sitting on a shelf. At genuine departmental volumes that is no concern — the pack turns over within the year — but it is why the size should follow your page count rather than the unit price alone.

What stands behind these five cartridges?

A year's warranty on every unit, and free returns on the purchase throughout the first year — the terms are set out on our shipping and returns page. Our team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST for anything from an ordering question to a cartridge concern.
