Xpress M2070F
Fax on the compact M2070 platform: the Xpress M2070F serves the home office that still sends the occasional signed document by phone line. Every fax prints, so even light fax users work through the ~1,000-page MLT-D111S faster than print-only owners — worth knowing when the cartridge is a one-piece unit. Our compatible MLT-D111S keeps each replacement inexpensive.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Xpress M2070F came with a toner cartridge in the box. How soon will I need a replacement?
The in-box cartridge is a reduced-fill starter, so it empties noticeably sooner than a full retail MLT-D111S. On the Xpress M2070F, a mono all-in-one with fax, the first replacement is when running costs normalize — the retail cartridge carries the full standard fill. If the starter seems to die quickly on dense documents, that is expected: starter yields assume light 5%-coverage pages.
Prints from my Xpress M2070F are coming out light gray instead of black. What is wrong?
Light prints on the Xpress M2070F are usually toner-save mode left on or a cartridge running low, not a broken printer. Turn off economy mode in the driver, then remove the MLT-D111S, rock it gently side to side to redistribute the remaining powder, and reseat it. If full-density prints are still gray afterward, the cartridge is genuinely spent — or, less commonly, the drum inside the all-in-one cartridge is worn.
Does receiving faxes use up the Xpress M2070F toner?
Every incoming fax prints, so yes — fax traffic consumes the MLT-D111S just like printing does. On the Xpress M2070F, the biggest silent drain is junk fax: enable junk-fax blocking and turn off automatic transmission reports to stop wasting toner on spam and confirmations. If you rarely need paper copies, check whether the model supports fax forwarding or receive-to-memory instead.
