No, each TN-318 color (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) is tracked independently, so you replace only the color that runs out. Black typically empties first in text-heavy offices.
Can the BizHub C20 print black-only documents when a color TN-318 is empty?
The machine generally wants all four cartridges present to operate, even for black-only jobs. Keep at least one of each color on hand so an empty cyan never blocks a black-and-white report.
Why do colors look off on the BizHub C20 after installing a new TN-318?
Run the machine's color calibration after any cartridge change; uncalibrated replacements are the usual cause of shifted hues. If one color still looks wrong, that specific TN-318 may be defective.
