BizHub 423

The BizHub 423 is the faster TN-414 mono MFP — same verified cartridge as the 363, stepped-up speed. The 423 completes the verified split: this pair runs TN-414, the 223/283 pair runs TN-217. Our compatible TN-414 fits the 423 exactly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the BizHub 423 use the TN-414 from a BizHub 363?

Yes, both machines use the TN-414, so cartridges move freely between them. Offices running the 363 and 423 together can consolidate to a single spare stock.

Does the faster BizHub 423 empty the TN-414 sooner than the 363?

Under identical page counts the consumption is the same, but the 423's speed means it reaches a given page count in less time. Calendar life of the cartridge is shorter simply because the work gets done faster.

What should I check if the BizHub 423 rejects a new TN-414?

Reseat the cartridge firmly and confirm the sealing tape was fully pulled, then power-cycle the machine. Persistent rejection usually means a bad cartridge chip, which the supplier should swap.
