Frequently Asked Questions

What arrives in a ten-pack?

Ten CE285A black toner cartridges, each sealed in its own bag within the carton, each rated at 1,600 pages. They are the standard supply for the compact HP platform — the LaserJet M1132 family, the P1102 line, the M1212nf class — and the ten-pack is that cartridge bought at annual-stock depth.

Why commit to ten at once?

Budget and certainty. Offices that know their yearly volume can put toner into one purchase order, at one point in the year, and close the subject. There is no performance difference to chase and no compatibility question to re-ask mid-year: the cartridge is the cartridge, and ten of them simply remove a dozen small decisions from the calendar.

How much storage does a ten-pack need?

Less than you would fear — these are compact cartridges, and the carton is roughly the footprint of a small archive box. Store it flat in a dry cupboard or stockroom, away from radiators and sunlit windows, with the cartridges left sealed in their bags until the day each is fitted.

How do we stop ten cartridges becoming a forgotten pile?

Treat the carton as the stock record. Mark the delivery month on it, install oldest stock first, and let the count do the managing: five left means half the year has gone as planned; two left is the reorder point. A ten-second count during any office tidy keeps the system honest without a spreadsheet.

What happens if our printing drops off — are we stuck with stock?

Sealed toner is patient: the powder does not dry out, so a slower year simply means the stock lasts longer. And if circumstances genuinely change, the pack sits under the same terms as everything else in the range — a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, detailed on our shipping and returns page. The risk in a ten-pack is low by design.

Who do we contact with a question about a bulk order?

Our support team, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders are dispatched from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, so the carton travels from the closest stock point.

About This CE285A Black Toner Cartridge 10 Pack

Ten standard CE285A cartridges at $101.09 — the 85A, rated at 1,600 pages apiece — bought the way an office manager buys paper: once, in depth, for the year. It serves the whole compact LaserJet platform, so a mixed fleet of these little printers draws from the same carton.

In the HP compatible range this is the set-and-forget end of the ladder. The buying logic is administrative calm: one code, one carton, one visible reorder trigger, and toner permanently off the list of small emergencies that eat a working week.
