Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly does this two-pack contain?
Two separately sealed C8061XJ cartridges — the HP 61XJ maximum-yield supply for the LaserJet 4100, each rated at 15,000 pages. They are two complete units, not a single doubled cartridge, so one can be fitted while the other waits in reserve, or the pair can be split between two printers on the same site.
Why pair up cartridges that already last this long?
Because the sites that use maximum-yield cartridges are the sites that can least afford a stoppage. A mailroom or statements desk running a 4100 hard will still finish a 15,000-page cartridge several times a year; holding the second one on site means the change is measured in minutes, and reordering can happen calmly afterwards instead of urgently.
How should the spare be kept until it is needed?
Sealed, flat, and somewhere cool and dry away from direct sunlight. Toner is a dry powder and does not go off, so a cartridge held in reserve keeps its full rating for many months. Before fitting it, rock it gently from side to side so the toner sits level and the first pages print evenly.
Can the two cartridges serve two different printers?
Yes. Each unit is a complete, independent C8061XJ supply, and any LaserJet 4100-series machine that takes this cartridge can use either one. There is no pairing or registration between the two — the second cartridge is simply stock, deployable wherever the next empty printer happens to be.
What is the price for the pair?
The two-pack is $224.74, covering both cartridges. No drum purchase sits behind it — the drum is part of each cartridge on this platform — and there is no contract or scheduled delivery attached. You reorder when the reserve is gone, on your timetable rather than a supplier's.
What cover backs both cartridges?
Each unit carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with the full terms on our shipping and returns page. We ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
About This HP 61XJ 2-Pack
This two-pack from the HP toner cartridges range at Clever Supplies pairs the longest-lasting supply in the 4100 family with its own on-site reserve: two compatible C8061XJ cartridges, each rated at 15,000 pages, for printers whose output is too important to pause while a delivery makes its way across town.
The same shelf holds the 61XJ (C8061XJ) single cartridge and the high-yield 61X (C8061X) three-pack. Owners of LaserJet 4100, LaserJet 4100dtn, LaserJet 4100mfp, LaserJet 4100n and LaserJet 4100tn are all shopping for this same 61XJ (C8061XJ) cartridge.
