Frequently Asked Questions

How does a 3 pack change our reordering routine?

It stretches it. Three N7DWF cartridges give your Color Laser H625cdw 9,000 pages of black toner before you need to think about buying again, which turns toner from a recurring small emergency into a twice-a-year-or-so chore. A workable rule: when you open the second cartridge, that is your signal to reorder — the third still in the box is your buffer while the new order ships.

What is the saving compared with buying singles?

Three N7DWF cartridges bought one at a time would total $101.13. At $64.14, this pack saves you $36.99 and works out to $21.38 per cartridge, or roughly 0.71 cents per page instead of about 1.12 cents on a single. The discount comes purely from buying the same cartridge in quantity — identical rating, identical fit, lower unit cost.

How should we rotate three cartridges so none is forgotten at the back of the cupboard?

First in, first out. Store the three N7DWF boxes in a row, take from the front, and when a fresh delivery arrives put it behind what is already there. Marking the purchase month on each box with a pen takes ten seconds and removes all guesswork about which cartridge has been shelved the longest.

Is 9,000 pages too much for a smaller office?

It can be. At 250 black pages a month, this pack would last around three years — a long time to hold stock for one printer, and if the H625cdw were replaced in that window the remaining cartridges would be stranded. At 500 pages a month or more, though, the pack is gone in roughly eighteen months or less and the lower per-cartridge price earns its keep.

Does buying three at once change anything about the cartridges themselves?

No. Each N7DWF in the pack is the same high yield black cartridge rated at 3,000 pages that we sell individually for the H625cdw. The pack is a pricing and stocking format, nothing more — the toner, the yield rating and the coverage are unchanged.

What cover do the three cartridges come with?

All three are compatible cartridges, not Dell originals, and all three carry a one-year warranty plus one-year free returns under the policy on our shipping & returns page. We ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, choosing whichever gets the order to you fastest, and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
